The world's first scale with a backlit weighing tray.

The new 2007 Tempest is another My Weigh innovation. The idea came after seeing a 1964 Chevy Impala with neon underlay. We said to ourselves "how can we add that sort of street appeal to a scale?". We combined the efforts of our worldwide offices to produce this funky scale. Our USA and Vancouver Canada offices designed, our German office engineered, and our Fuzhou factory manufactured. The result is truly outstanding.

The Tempest has both a backlit tray and backlit LCD display. A multitude of LCDs produce a vibrant color effect that truly stands out from the crown. Both lights can be turned off for when you're not in the mood to show off.

More then just flash - the Tempest is a high precision weighing device that reads in 5 Modes with a large 250gram capacity precise 0.1gram accuracy. The scale offers digital auto calibration, temperature compensation, pocket-bowl, expansion tray, scoop, tweezers, pouch, calibration weight, stainless steel tray and more!

The hinge is a pressure-click style hinge that clicks open or closed. This keeps the lid securely shut when closed.
